THE АН-TYPE MOTOR-DRIVEN PISTON PUMPING UNITS

Usage

The AN-type motor-driven piston pumping units are designed to pump water (except fresh water and seawater) and neutral liquids with the

kinematic viscosity of 0.008х10–4 m2/sec to 8х10–4 m2/sec at a temperature of 258 К to 353 К (minus 15 °C to 80 °С). The units may be supplied in the make to pump liquids at a temperature of up to 378 К (105 °С), which condition should be indicated in the order. The maximum volume concentration of nonabrasive solid particles in the pumped fluid should not exceed 0.2%. The maximum particle size should not exceed 0.2 mm. The units are used in water feed and conditioning systems of lowcapacity boilers.

Design

The pumping unit comprises: a quadruple-acting double-piston pump and an electric motor. The pump consists of two portions: a drive portion and a hydraulic portion. The drive portion comprises a belt drive and a gear drive. The hydraulic portion comprises two hydraulic cylinders and two valve boxes accommodating suction and discharge ball-and-socket valves. The unit is mounted on the frame of the drive portion.
